Saint John Rentable Photography Studio

Because this is a community space we have a few rules we most enforce to ensure everyone gets the same experience, as there may be others renting the space after you.

• No muddy, or dirty outdoor shoes are to be worn in the studio. please ask your client to bring a pair of clean shoes, especially if it is raining or snowing. Excessive dirt or scuff marks will result in a $35 cleaning fee.

• No Glitter allowed in the studio. only confetti is allowed and must be cleaned before leaving. We have a shop vac that makes this a lot easier as well! Uncleaned Confetti will result in a $35 cleaning fee.

• No animals allowed. we have some clients who are allergic, and don't want any dirty paw prints on our carpets, even though we would love to accommodate our furry friends, we unfortunately are not pet friendly.

• Please do not remove or alter any fixtures in the studio. this includes removing the vinyl backdrop, Taking down curtain rods, moving the shelves. There is a separate backdrop stand meant for paper backdrops and to hang our fabric backdrops.

• Please do not use any balloons, confetti canons, or other non-reusable items in the studio.

• Please ensure you lock the space when leaving by clicking the lock button in from the inside.

• If you are unsure of how to use something please feel free to ask! I would much rather help you out safely than you hurt yourself or the client, or break expensive equipment.​

• If you turn off the air conditioner, please turn it back on when leaving. 

• You must rent paper backdrops before arrival, as setup is included in the price to ensure that nobody gets hurt, or rips the backdrops.

• Please clean up after yourself. if there is a large mess, there is a broom and shop vac available to use in the studio, along with cleaning supplies. light sweeping and dirt and normal foot traffic will not be charged a cleaning fee, however if extensive cleaning is needed, or if items are broken a fee can apply.

• Food and drink is complimentary so please help yourself! 

• Client closet is free to use, for both women and newborns. Beanbag fabric can be found on top of the rattan basket in closet area, matching wraps can be found hanging on bottom of newborn shelf.

• Feel free to rearrange the chairs, stools, tables and props as you like, however please return them to their same position you found them once you are ready to leave.
